Patolli v1.0s (PATOLLI.EXE) is a Windows shareware version of the
ancient Aztec gambling game Patolli. Played from at least 200 B.C.
by the Teotihuacanians, the Toltecs, the Aztecs, the Mixtecs,
the Zapotecs, and even the Mayans; games derived from it are played
even today all over MesoAmerica. This version offers excellent graphics,
great game play, original MIDI background music, and good game sounds.
Easy to play and learn, very fun, and very educational! The only
remaining question: Are you player enough to prevent the Aztec demon
and god 'Smoking Mirror' from taking your library card?
PATOLLI.ZIP should yield the following program files when un-zipped:
PATOLLI .EXE
PATOLLI .HLP
PATOLLI1.MID
PATOLLI2.MID

To install Patolli, please do the following:
1. Check that VBRUN300.DLL is in your Windows System directory. If not,
please download a copy (there should be a copy on the BBS from which
you downloaded PATOLLI.ZIP).
2. Create a directory PATOLLI.
3. Copy all the files 'unzipped' from PATOLLI.ZIP
to this new Patolli directory.
4. Create a program manager icon for PATOLLI.EXE by adding it as a file
in your GAMES program manager group.
That's it.
Thanks for trying Patolli. I hope it's challenging, fun, and
educational at the same time!
